You may be able to reclaim some or all of your reasonable travel costs to your appointment if you or your partner is in receipt of income support, income based job seeker's allowance, pension credit (guarantee credit) or income-related employment and support allowance, or have a valid NHS tax credit exemption certificate, or a valid HC3 certificate.

Non-emergency patient transport
Non-emergency patient transport takes eligible patients with certain medical needs to and from places that provide NHS treatment and between one NHS provider and another.
Non-emergency patient transport is provided by Arriva Transport Solutions.
A 'ring when ready' booking system has been introduced for return journeys. This means that patients are booked onto transport as soon as they finish their appointment, avoiding unecessary waiting times. When your appointment is finished and you have pre-booked a return journey, please ask us to call Arriva on 0845 266 9662. Patients will be collected within an hour.
