NHS Friends and Family Test – Tell us what you think
What is the Friends and Family Test?
The Friends & Family Test (FFT) is about giving patients the opportunity to provide quick feedback on their care and treatment experience. It’s in use across most local NHS healthcare services.
You can tell us what is going well and what can be improved so that people who make decisions about local healthcare can take your views into account.
It doesn’t take long and you don’t need to give your details.
The FFT is asked of all inpatients, outpatients, maternity patients and those attending the Emergency Department, so next time you visit the hospital, look for details to tell us what you think in the area you are in, or ask a member of staff for more information.
Find out more about FFT by watching this video or visit www.nhs.uk/friendsandfamily
How we use your feedback
Your feedback is really important to us and we use it as a tool to measure patient satisfaction and our performance. Any comments we receive can help us to improve our services for our patients, families and visitors.
How can I leave my feedback?
You can give us your feedback by completing a feedback card in the department that you attend and posting it in the feedback boxes around the hospital. You can also click on one of the links below for the service you used to leave your feedback online.
If you stayed on a ward you would have been asked to complete the survey on one of our iPad devices before you went home.
Online FFT Feedback Service
Click the link below for the service that you used to complete the online FFT survey. You will need the FFT card from the service used to complete the online survey as it contains a unique survey code.
