Will is a Consultant Urologist at Nottingham University Hospitals, with a specialist interest in urothelial cancer and pelvic and upper-tract uro-oncology. Having trained in the East Midlands and completed a bladder cancer fellowship post at Fiona Stanley Hospital, Perth, Western Australia he now performs robotic, open and laparoscopic urological cancer surgery. He has a strong research background, having published extensively, completed an MPhil in cancer biomarker research and gained a first-class degree in Neuroscience. Will is also an Honorary Assistant Professor at Nottingham University School of Medicine and is co - clinical lead for research and innovation for the Cancer and Associated Specialities Division, Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust.

Mark Bishton is Associate Professor at the University of Nottingham, Honorary Consultant Haematologist at Nottingham University Hospitals and Haemato-oncology clinical lead at the National Cancer Registration and Analysis Service. He has leads regional services for adults with lymphoma and histiocytoses and has pioneered the use of electronic health records in determining the incidence of histiocytic disorders in the UK, through collaboration with NDRS.

Penny Hall

Research Delivery Manager

Having a degree in Psychology Penny started her career in research in 2001 undertaking her own research into self-efficacy and empowerment in young people with Type 1 diabetes. Having completed that Penny continued to work in the field of diabetes and medication errors in adults and children before taking a lead role in 2006 within the Medicines for Children Research Network. In 2016 Penny joined the NIHR Clinical Research Network East Midlands as a Research Operations Manager covering Cancer, Childrens, Reproductive Health, Non-Malignant Haematology and Genetics. Penny joined NUH in October 2022.
