CHEAR Study

Researchers in Nottingham are investigating if COVID-19 has an impact on people’s hearing, tinnitus and balance with the CHEAR Study.  They are looking for volunteers aged over 16-years-old, who have had COVID-19, live in the East Midlands and can easily travel to the NUH Nottingham Biomedical Research Centre in Nottingham city centre.

The study involves a baseline assessment at Ropewalk House, followed by a remote follow-up every month for two years.

Those taking part need to have access to an internet-enabled device (laptop or tablet) and their own headphones for the monthly follow-up.
