Tram travel

The tram is a very convenient and sustainable way of travelling to the QMC. It runs every 7-15 minutes, is reliable and connects with key areas in town. It is also the best way to commute to QMC if you travel to Nottingham by train.

We've teamed up with NET Tram to offer staff discounts on annual tram tickets for NUH staff.

The travel tickets can be used at weekends and in the evenings.

Tram Park and Ride

You can connect to QMC from the new Toton Lane Park & Ride car park (off Bardill’s Roundabout and accessible from the A52 and M1 via Junction 25 with A52).

Journey times between Toton Lane Park & Ride and QMC are approximately 20-25 minutes.

Other park & ride sites with connections to QMC and City Hospital via the Medilink bus service are available. More information is on the Park & Ride page of our website here.
