If you have symptoms of coronavirus (COVID-19) – a high temperature, a new continuous cough, or a loss of, or change in, your normal sense of smell or taste (anosmia) – the advice is to stay at home for 10 days. All members of this household should remain at home for 14 days.

If you think you have symptoms, please do not attend your hospital appointment until you are advised it is safe to do so. Please contact us to rearrange your appointment, or to re-organise treatment and tests.

The latest information on the Covid-19 vaccination programme in Nottingham and Nottinghamshire can be found here.

Train travel

We're working with East Midlands Trains to offer staff discounts on their annual train passes.

Commuting by train can be convenient and reliable if you live in a different city. The benefits include a less stressful commute than driving, avoidance of congestion, and potential savings in petrol and car maintenance expenses.

East Midlands Trains offers staff two types of discounts:

  • 10% discount on their annual pass cost to applicants who have never had an East Midlands Train annual pass before
  • 5% discount on their annual pass cost to applicants who have held an East Midlands Trains annual pass before (Note: This applies whether the former pass was acquired via the NUH Travel to Work Scheme or directly purchased by the applicant).

You can apply for an East Midlands Trains discounted train pass and complement it with a bus or tram pass for convenient access to QMC and Nottingham City Hospital.
