If you have symptoms of coronavirus (COVID-19) – a high temperature, a new continuous cough, or a loss of, or change in, your normal sense of smell or taste (anosmia) – the advice is to stay at home for seven days. All members of this household should remain at home for 14 days.

If you think you have symptoms, please do not attend your hospital appointment until you are advised it is safe to do so. Please contact us to rearrange your appointment, or to re-organise treatment and tests.

NUH Car Share scheme

Did you know at Nottingham University Hospitals there are around 6,000 staff members with car parking permits at and there are many more people looking for a car sharing partner?

You save money by sharing a lift with other members of staff who live local to you.

This scheme helps you find a car share partner for your journey to and from work.

Find drivers and passengers going your way.

NUH’s car sharing scheme is run by Liftshare, the UK’s largest car sharing community. The scheme helps you find a car share partner for your journey to and from work. By using the NUH car sharing scheme, the average commuter could save up to £1,000 a year in shared fuel costs alone.

You don’t need to offer a lift every day, just when it works for you.

It is quick, simple and free to join as either a driver or a passenger. You can search for or offer regular or one off trips to staff members at NUH – it is easy to tailor your Liftshare experience to what is best for you. The portal enables you to easily find NUH colleagues to share with and conveniently works out a fair contribution towards the petrol costs for those who travel with you.

After registering for your free NUH car share account, you can also link into the national scheme to search for a possible match outside of NUH and even for non-work-related trips.

There are many benefits with Lift Share. Share a lift, share the cost, share a smile.

As well as saving money with shared fuel costs, you can help colleagues whilst they wait for a parking permit, improve your health and wellbeing by reducing commuting and parking stresses, and be kinder to the environment by reducing congestion and pollution levels.
