If you have symptoms of coronavirus (COVID-19) – a high temperature, a new continuous cough, or a loss of, or change in, your normal sense of smell or taste (anosmia) – the advice is to stay at home for 10 days. All members of this household should remain at home for 14 days.

If you think you have symptoms, please do not attend your hospital appointment until you are advised it is safe to do so. Please contact us to rearrange your appointment, or to re-organise treatment and tests.

Children's Renal and Urology Service

The Childrens Renal and Urology Unit Nottingham is the specialist centre for the renal services for the East Midlands, East of England and South Yorkshire network (EMEESY).

We care for children with complex problems with their kidneys and bladder including those needing dialysis and renal transplants. The care of patients is based around the specialist services at the Children's Renal and Urology in Nottingham, with links to consultant paediatricians and shared care clinics in hospitals across the region.

The Children's Renal and Urology Unit has always been actively involved in clinical research to improve the care of patients and contribute to the scientific knowledge regarding renal disease in childhood.

Please ask any member of staff if you want to find out more information about the research that we are involved in.
