Epilepsy Service (Children's)

The children and young people's epilepsy service is provided by a multi-professional team who have specialist paediatric epilepsies training and expertise in diagnosing, treating and supporting children and young people and their parents and carers.

Our team run a variety of epilepsy clinics in hospital and different community locations. For example, we can offer clinics related to:

• best practice epilepsy standards
• children diagnosed with complex epilepsy
• children receiving the ketogenic diet and/or vagal nerve stimulation (VNS) therapy
• young people and transition

The location and frequency of clinic appointments are arranged individually based on the patient's needs.
