Maternity services
Our hospitals provide maternity care for more than 8,000 women every year
As part of the Care Quality Commission national patient survey programme to improve experiences of maternity care, we take part in the National Maternity Survey.
Each year we survey patients across our maternity pathway during January, February and March, including people under the care of our maternity services aged 16 and 17.
Your feedback matters and is important to us as it helps us to shape our services and to make improvements. Taking part in the maternity survey is voluntary and answers are kept confidential.
The results of each survey can be found below.

We carried out a survey between April 2022 - August 2022, to find out what people thought about their experiences of antenatal care, childbirth and postnatal care. This was part of CQC’s national patient survey programme to improve experiences of maternity care.
