Interpretation and advice
The Molecular Diagnostics Service provides clinical interpretation of results and advice. Staff are available to discuss particular cases with referring clinicians during normal opening hours.
Complaints/concerns and feedback procedure
For patients who have a complaint or concern regarding the service they have received from the Molecular Diagnostics department please follow the Trust procedure via the link below to report your complaint. You can also share positive feedback via the link below.
Patient Liaison and Advice Service
Complaints and concerns from clinical users of the service should be brought to the attention of the Service manager/Quality Manager/Section Lead either by telephone or in writing as soon as possible (see contact us). The complaint/concern from a clinical user will be recorded, investigated and reported back to the complainant as soon as practicable. The procedure defined in the Trust Management of Complaints, Concerns, Comments and Compliments Policy will be followed where applicable. Where the complaint is of a more serious nature it will be recorded on the Trust incident reporting system (Datix).

8:45am to 5pm, Monday to Friday (excluding bank holidays).
