Trent Regional Cleft Network

The Trent Regional Cleft Network is one of nine dedicated regional specialist cleft services in England.

We care for all patients with cleft lip and/or cleft palate, and patients with speech difficulties caused by poor soft palate function, who live in Derbyshire, Leicestershire, Lincolnshire, Nottinghamshire and South Yorkshire and South Humberside. 

We also provide investigation and treatment for velopharyngeal dysfunction (VPD - speech problems from poor soft palate function). 

The Trent Cleft Service is based at City Hospital but services are provided across the region. 

We are committed to ensuring that all patients and families with clefts can have normal lives.
