If you have symptoms of coronavirus (COVID-19) – a high temperature, a new continuous cough, or a loss of, or change in, your normal sense of smell or taste (anosmia) – the advice is to stay at home for 10 days. All members of this household should remain at home for 14 days.

If you think you have symptoms, please do not attend your hospital appointment until you are advised it is safe to do so. Please contact us to rearrange your appointment, or to re-organise treatment and tests.

Maternity services research

Our hospitals provide maternity care for around 10,000 women every year. One of the many ways that we are working to ensure that we continue to provide and develop excellent maternity services is through clinical research.

Our maternity research portfolio has contributed to studies into pre-eclampsia, low risk pregnancy, premature birth and stillbirth.

Our aim is to offer every woman the opportunity to take part in research that is relevant to them, including research around their experience of childbirth.

Taking part in our maternity research trials

If you would like to know more about taking part in clinical research, then please contact us.
