Media enquiries
For help with all requests for filming, interviews and statements
Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust (NUH) is a popular and well‑established location for television, film and media productions. In recent years, our sites have hosted a range of projects, including the BAFTA‑nominated 24 Hours in A&E documentary series, feature‑length films and other productions requiring authentic hospital environments.
Our estates offer a diverse selection of unique and flexible spaces, making NUH an excellent choice for both medical and non‑medical filming. We welcome enquiries from production companies and are experienced in supporting projects of all sizes.
Please note that when considering filming requests, the medical care and welfare of our patients and staff will always remain our priority.
“We could not have asked for a better experience. From start to finish, the team were incredibly supportive, responsive and accommodating.
“The process was straightforward, professional and surprisingly stress-free for a hospital environment. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and their willingness to help at every stage was truly appreciated. We wouldn’t hesitate to work with them again and highly recommend NUH to any film or media teams looking for a supportive location partner.”
Fees are agreed on a case‑by‑case basis, as each production has different requirements. Charges cover administration, staff support and use of our facilities. All income is reinvested back into NUH, helping us to improve services for our patients and staff and providing added social value to your production.
Please note, if filming does not take place after a secondary recce, a charge of £250 will still be incurred.
