Service User Involvement

Throughout the year we invite our Service Users to support us to improve the Macmillan Information and Support Service. This could be by being a patient or carers voice on a working party for a service improvement project, it could be as part of a panel to look at how we can adapt and improve the service or it could be to look at our processes to provide your thoughts and feedback.

By supporting us in this way, you will be able to have your voice heard and help to shape the Service into what you and others affected by cancer need. 

Attendance can be face to face at Nottingham City Hospital or Queen's Medical Centre or via video link. 

Service User Involvement Aims:

• To actively participate in shaping the service provided by the Macmillan Information and Support Service
• To help us to identify gaps in service to enable improvement
• To ensure that people living with and beyond cancer have a voice in the group
• To advise on project work
