Phlebotomy

The Phlebotomy Department consists of 42 highly skilled, dedicated phlebotomists among all three sites, who provide an Outpatient and GP drop in service, Monday to Friday.

We see a total of up to approx. 36,000 patients in a month collectively from outpatients and ward services.

GP patients must be  over the age of 18 and for hospital based bloods patients over the age of 12.

The following GP Practices are now providing their own GP+ Phlebotomy service. To make an appointment please contact your practice for the details.

For Any Outpatient Blood test request, it is advised you visit one of our teams to have these completed and not visit your GP practice to do so, unless there are exceptional circumstance , which are previously agreed by your GP.

Waiting times may vary during the day, as we experience peak times of attendances throughout the service.
