NUH staff take part in city-wide creative dance programme

Over the summer of 2025, as part of the Arts at NUH programme, NUH staff joined seven other groups across Nottingahm for a 12-week creative dance programme led by Tappin’ In Ltd. Participants explored rhythm through tap dance and body percussion, building confidence, connection, and joy through movement.

The NUH staff group showcased their skills through a performance at The treatment Centre, and the work featured in a specially produced dance film that premiered at Lakeside Arts Centre in September 2025.

Lucy Knight, Arts Coordinator, shared:

“The energy, enthusiasm, and transformation we’ve seen in staff throughout this project has been incredible. It’s brought joy into busy days and created moments of challenge and laughter for staff. The feedback has been overwhelmingly positive, people feel more confident, connected, and creatively fulfilled.”

Watch and  celebrate the rhythm of NUH staff – you might even find yourself tapping along!

This project was generously funded by Nottingham Hospitals Charity
