Nottingham University Hospital NHS Trust supporting the next generation of health and social care workers

Nottingham University Hospitals (NUH) NHS Trust is partnering with National Health Services Professionals (NHSP) to offer students paid work placements over the summer as part of a trial to support the next generation of student nurses, doctors and allied health care professionals.
The scheme is for returning medical, nursing or allied healthcare students and will offer them the opportunity to be a Band 2 Health Care Assistant between July and September. The scheme includes training prior to the placement; applicants will be supervised and then supported to work independently in line with our HCA workforce
Your main duties and responsibilities include:
- Working cooperatively as part of a team supporting colleagues associated with patient care
- Communicating clearly, effectively and appropriately with the colleagues patients and their family, visitors and carers
- Assisting and as required provide patients with personal care
The deadline to apply is 01/07/22.
