Nottingham hospitals appoints new Chief People Officer

Danielle Petch has been appointed as the new Chief People Officer at Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust (NUH).

Currently Chief People Officer at Milton Keynes University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, Danielle will join NUH in August.

Danielle has worked at a number of NHS Trusts, including large, medium and small acute hospital Trusts, a mental health Trust and a community provider. She is a Chartered Fellow of the CIPD and holds an MBA and a BSc (Hons), along with having completed the NHS Leadership Academy’s Nye Bevan programme.

Throughout her career, Danielle has led on a variety of initiatives to maximise workforce efficiency and staff experience. She is passionate about developing a sustainable workforce for the future in line with the NHS Long Term Workforce Plan. 

Danielle said: “I am delighted to be joining a great team at NUH and am looking forward to understanding how we can make every day a good day at work for the thousands of people working across our services.

“Our people are our most important asset, and it is a real privilege to be joining NUH to help ensure we can recruit, develop and retain people at all stages of their career. I know that there will be great things happening already, and I am really excited to work with the NUH teams to build on that success.”
