NHS England visit our Community Diagnostics Centre

We were very pleased to recently welcome LeeAnne Green from NHS England to the Broad Marsh Community Diagnostic Centre site.

The CDC will be run and staffed by NUH, is due to open in 2027 and is expected to provide up to 140,000 diagnostic tests every year.

LeeAnne is the Strategic Estates Lead at NHSE, and so she joined colleagues from NUH, members of the construction company Henry Brothers, and other site partners for a tour of the construction site to see progress being made on the new facility.

Leeanne said: "The site visit provided a valuable opportunity to see first-hand the progress being made on the construction of the Broadmarsh Community Diagnostic Centre.

This project is an important investment in local infrastructure, and it will play a vital role in providing diagnostic services in Nottinghamshire.

“During the visit, the project team demonstrated a strong commitment to quality, safety and collaboration. There is a clear focus on creating a modern, patient-centred environment that will support high-quality care and improve the overall experience for both patients and staff.”
