Help shape the future of NUH at our Annual Public Meeting

At a glance:
- NUH is keen for the public to inform its latest strategy, to hear what is working, what needs to change, and ideas the Trust should explore.
- A public engagement session is being held at the Trust’s Annual Public Meeting to support the development of the strategy.
- That feedback will directly inform the priorities and direction for NUH over the coming years.
Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust (NUH) is developing a new long-term strategy and is keen for members of the public to help inform it.
Over the last three years, the Trust has used its People First Strategy to shape everything from leadership and culture to patient flow and recruitment.
The strategy is due to come to an end in March 2026, and with changes taking place across the NHS the Trust is inviting the public to support the development of its future strategy through an engagement session at its Annual Public Meeting.
Tim Guyler, Director of Strategy and Integration at NUH, is leading the session. He said: “Together we have achieved a lot through our People First Strategy, but we know we have further to go. With both local and national changes across the NHS, it is time to refresh our strategy. We need to make sure People First reflects the challenges we are facing, and our ambitions.
“To understand what matters most, we want to hear from the public about what is working, what needs to change, and the ideas we should explore. That feedback will directly inform the priorities and direction for NUH over the coming years.”
How you can get involved
- Members of the public can join the Annual Public Meeting on Wednesday 3 September to have their say on the future of NUH by taking part in an interactive, facilitated session to engage on the development of the new organisational strategy. You can register online.
- The public can also complete a short online anonymous survey – it’s quick, easy and open to all NUH staff, patients, volunteers, communities and partners.
