East Midlands Mayor Claire Ward welcomed to the NRC
We were delighted to recently welcome Mayor of the East Midlands Claire Ward to the NRC for a full tour and to discuss the opportunities our national centre will bring to the region.
She said of her visit: “I thoroughly enjoyed the visit to the National Rehabilitation Centre to see the construction taking place.
"It’s an incredibly exciting project and will be transformative in the care and rehabilitation of patients.
"It’s clear the team have put great thought and consideration into every stage of recovery and I look forward to visiting again when the construction is complete.”
The NRC will be run and staffed by Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust when it opens to our first patients later this year.
