The latest episode of 24 Hours in A&E is back on Channel 4 and tonight we meet 27-year-old Connor who is in Resus after falling 12ft from a roof .
Doctors are concerned he may have bleeding on his brain after suffering from a severe head injury and amnesia .We hear from his mother Debbie who discouraged Connor from working for the family construction business after a rift left Connor’s dad and grandad estranged.
24 hours in A&E is an RTS award-winning documentary which follows life at Queen's Medical Centre, Nottingham - one of the busiest A&E departments in Europe.
"Where We Belong" is an episode that follows the stories of people who have found where they belong, including a man from Romania who has made Nottingham his home.
In the urgent treatment unit, 25-year-old Adrian suffered facial injuries and been bitten on his arm after he broke up a fight in Nottingham City Centre. We hear how as a teenager he moved from Romania to the UK, leaving his mother behind, for a better life and opportunities, and the struggles the family went through to make a living.
Meanwhile, 36-year-old Andy is rushed to Queen’s Medical Centre having crashed his motorbike at speed. As Doctors work to realign his fractured femur, we hear from his partner Sarah, how he became a stepfather and then a father, but when his children were young, their lives were turned upside down when he suffered brain seizures and how he now lives with a neurological condition.
