Liz has dedicated over 35 years to paediatrics in Nottingham where she has played a vital role in shaping children's health services. Nottingham pioneered community paediatric services for children with Down Syndrome 40 years ago, something Liz was instrumental in developing and has since become a national expert in. Liz has supported countless children and families with a wide range of conditions with her compassionate and expert care.
Pradhib has been a dedicated leader at NUH for 30 years. He has guided his team with calm, compassion, and dedication through countless changes and challenges, including pandemics, and his commitment to patients and teaching is unmatched. He founded the Infectious Diseases department at City Hospital, trained many current doctors, and inspired others with his humility and service. As he plans to retire, his absence will be deeply felt.
Sue is a compassionate leader and role model to many. She leads from the front in supporting her team to deliver sexual health across Nottinghamshire. She goes above and beyond for patients and staff, sharing her knowledge with kindness and motivating others. Respected across all teams, Sue leads with fairness, professionalism, and a “we’ll make it work” attitude. Her inspirational qualities, warmth, and tireless commitment deserve to be recognised.
Mr Macmillan is a pioneer in Oncoplastic Breast Surgery and has delivered outstanding patient care since the Nottingham Breast Institute was established 21 years ago. Through his leadership and dedication, he has helped bring national and international recognition to the unit. He has also played a vital role in training future consultants, many of whom now work across the globe, and is a compassionate clinician, mentor, and leader.
