Amputee Team
The Amputee Team demonstrate outstanding communication and collaboration where everyone’s voice matters. They’ve significantly developed the service in recent years, focusing entirely on patient benefit, including clear care pathways and better support for those previously overlooked. Well-coordinated and efficient, they manage complex situations with ease and have reduced delays and missed care.
Bryant Hose, Linen Services Assistant
At 81, Bryant is the embodiment of kindness and dedication. Though his role is behind the scenes, his impact is deeply felt. His unwavering commitment ensures smooth operations, but it's his warmth, generosity, and positive spirit that truly set him apart. Whether offering a kind word, or going the extra mile, Bryant uplifts everyone around him. After over 40 years of quiet, selfless service, Bryant’s commitment makes him truly deserving of recognition.
Neonatal Services Team
Over the past two years, the Neonatal multidisciplinary team has shown outstanding teamwork through major service changes. They successfully managed relocations and adapted to new environments while expanding the team and maintaining high standards of care – always working as one team across sites. Despite challenges, their unity and dedication ensured a smooth transition and continued excellence in patient care.
Same Day Emergency Care (SDEC) Team
The SDEC Team has eased the Emergency Department’s workload by improving patient flow and reducing admissions. Friendly and proactive, they provide timely, patient-centred care by streamlining assessment and treatment. Supported by strong leadership, the team adapts to challenges, collaborates across specialties, and maintains high staff morale. Their dedication and compassion making a real difference to patients every day.
Security Team
The Security Team is a vital part of the organisation, ensuring the safety of everyone on site and enabling daily operations. Their commitment to patient and staff safety, patient care, reassurance, and creating a calm environment is central to their work. Over the past two years, the team’s progress and dedication - balancing high-pressure responses including severe incidents and tragic events - with routine duties, have been truly commendable.
