Research is part of NHS care

Research is part of the care we provide for our patients; it not only provides the vital in providing the evidence we need to transform health and improve outcomes. It is also often an integrated part of the care we provide on a day-to-day basis. Taking part in a research study offers patients the opportunity to access new and emerging treatments, and contirbute to chnages in healthcare they want to see.

We also want everyone working as part of Team NUH to have the opportunity to be part of research - whether that's having a conversation about research, including research as part of your current role or developing and leading your own research projects. We can all get involved in the research at NUH.

 

Investing in Team NUH

Through our commercial research activities, we are able to reinvest in facilities, staff and infrastructure which helps to develop and grow our research in NUH.

This means directly supporting you to include research as part of your existing role, to work in a role within the R&I department or to develop your career in research.
