Hospital Hotel

The Hospital Hotel at City Hospital is available for people who need to stay near our hospitals, for clinical reasons, business reasons, or because a family member is a patient. 

The hotel has 32 rooms, which are mainly single rooms. There are small number of three quarter, twin or family rooms. 

We offer accommodation for:

  • Guests who are able to take care of themselves but need to remain on-site or nearby due to treatment at NUH
  • Guests who are able to take care of themselves and are staying over before an operation or procedure
  • Relatives of patients
  • Partners of maternity patients
  • Parents of babies being care for in the Neonatal Unit
  • Delegates on hospital business such as conferences, training courses or interviews
  • Members of hospital staff, such as those on-call or who live too far away to go home when working

Prices

Our prices are per room per night only:

  • NUH staff (including on-call) - single room - £35
  • All other external guests (including relatives of patients and event attendees) - £50
  • Self-paying guest undergoing NUH treatment - £35
  • Twin room - £80
  • Family room - £100
  • Divisional charges per NUH funded guest - £51

Facilities

Breakfast and other refreshments

The Eatwell Hospital Hotel Restaurant is managed and separatly run by the Elior catering team. All guests are expected to pay separatly for their meals unless they are on the Elior voucher system.

Tea and coffee making facilities are provided in the rooms.

Parking

The nearest car park is directly in front of the Maternity Building. There are several other visitor car parks around City Hospital.

All our car parks are pay and display parking.

Visitors and security

Hotel guests can receive visitors between 9.00am-9.00pm. Visitors are asked to sign in and out at reception.

Smoking

Our hospital grounds and the hotel are non-smoking sites.

E-cigarettes can be used, but in outdoor areas only.

Housekeeping

The hotel’s team of housekeepers is on site from 8.00am - 3.00pm, ensuring that all guest rooms and public areas are maintained to a high level of cleanliness. To contact the team please call reception.
