Valneva COVID-19 vaccine trial

The Valneva “Cov-Compare” trial

There are several COVID-19 vaccines, both approved and in development. Each one uses a different technology to prevent people from getting sick after being infected by the virus.

Valneva’s Phase 3 clinical trial will test a new vaccine (known as VLA2001) against COVID-19 and its ability to induce antibodies as a protection against the virus.

The trial is now recruiting 4,000 people aged 18 years and over in the UK to help evaluate the VLA2001 vaccine compared to a licensed COVID-19 vaccine.

NUH is one of the locations that you can take part in this trial.
