If you have symptoms of coronavirus (COVID-19) – a high temperature or a new, continuous cough – the advice is to stay at home for seven days. All members of this household should remain at home for 14 days.

If you think you have symptoms, please do not attend your hospital appointment until you are advised it is safe to do so. Please contact us to rearrange your appointment, or to re-organise treatment and tests.

Training stations

The City Hospital resuscitation department consists of six teaching stations of varying in sizes.

AHLS link staff are welcome to use a station (subject to availability) to deliver resuscitation training. To book email: resusofficers@nuh.nhs.uk.

Station One

Training station one can accomodate upto 50 candidates. Facilities are as follows:

    • Airways skills table
    • Emergency trolley

    • A to E assessment table
    • EZ-IO kit

Station Two

Training station two can accomodate upto 12 candidates. Facilities are as follows:

The rhythm analysis room can accomodate upto six candidates. Facilities are as follows:

  • Codemaster defibrillator to simulate different rhythms (including printing facilities)
