Rescheduled Treatment Centre appointments

As part of the transfer of services from Circle to NUH, we successfully changed our Patient Administration System to bring it in line with NUH’s. This involved a data transfer of 44,642 existing patient bookings for outpatient appointments and surgery and this exercise is nearing completion. Following this process, just over 2,000 patients will have their appointment date and time rescheduled. We are writing to these patients to inform them of their new appointment, which we aim to ensure is as close as possible to the original date. The decision to write to patients has been made to prevent the risk of duplicate bookings on our new IT systems and reflect the new ‘working week’ in the TC based on the activity in the new contract, as well as avoiding the risk of patients having multiple appointments and minimise any disruption to their planned care.
