If you have symptoms of coronavirus (COVID-19) – a high temperature, a new continuous cough, or a loss of, or change in, your normal sense of smell or taste (anosmia) – the advice is to stay at home for 10 days. All members of this household should remain at home for 14 days.

If you think you have symptoms, please do not attend your hospital appointment until you are advised it is safe to do so. Please contact us to rearrange your appointment, or to re-organise treatment and tests.

The latest information on the Covid-19 vaccination programme in Nottingham and Nottinghamshire can be found here.

Quick Wins

We’ve launched Quick Wins

Thanks to the fantastic support of our NUH Charity, we’ve launch Quick Wins – which replace Just Do Its.

What is a Quick Win?

Quick Wins is our new staff ideas scheme that will make a positive difference to patients, their families and staff.

All members of Team NUH can submit their brilliant ideas.

How to apply

Fill out the online form here or fill in a Quick Wins postcard and send it to our Improvement and Transformation Team (Sherwood Building, City Hospital), who will support staff to ensure ideas happen quickly.

An annual staff showcase will be held to celebrate the best ideas where you will have the chance to share good practice ideas with other member of Team NUH, the Board and members of the public.

Quick wins funded and supported by our Nottingham Hospitals Charity. The scheme will also provide a small central pool of funds (maximum £2,500 per idea) to test your ideas.
