Breast cancer support group

The Nottingham Breast Cancer Support Group is run by ladies who have had breast cancer and has been running for over 25 years.

Meetings take place on the third Tuesday of every month at the Breast Institute from 7.30pm to 9.30pm.

The group offers emotional and practical support to anyone who has been affected by breast cancer -  including partners, family and friends - based on our own experiences. We have a variety of speakers at the monthly meetings which are held in an informal and friendly atmosphere. You can chat over a cup of tea or coffee with each other or confidentially talk with volunteers who have been trained by the breast care specialist nurses. Meals and trips out are also arranged each year.

In addition to providing mutual support, we fundraise. We have raised more than £300,000 and every penny is donated either to research undertaken at Nottingham City Hospital or to enhance breast cancer patient care.
