CARE

The CARE programme is for anyone living with Cancer. Notts County FC Community Programme have teamed up with Macmillan Cancer Support to design a cancer project that uses physical activity to help patients during their recovery from cancer.  This project will test the concept and benefits of providing an exercise programme for patients at any stage of their treatment.  The aim is to provide a minimum of 3 months guided exercise, followed by ongoing support for a further 12 months to ensure participants continue to benefit from their new strength and fitness. The project will provide participants and their families with a social environment to share stories, build strength and increase their confidence and self-esteem.

The sessions are held at the Portland Centre, Muskham Street, Nottingham. There are two women’s classes, Monday and Saturday 10.00am-11:30am and a men’s class on a Tuesday evening 5:30pm- 7:00pm.
