Long Service Awards 2016

Our Long Service Awards are designed to recognise the remarkable contribution of staff who have worked for Nottingham's hospitals for 25 years or more.
We had a wonderful evening celebrating long service with many colleagues across NUH who have reached the milestone years of 25, 30 and 35 years of service in 2016. The celebratory dinner, hosted by Our Chief Executive and Chair, Peter Homa and Louise Scull, was held on 1 July at Nottingham Conference Centre.
Every year we recognise our long serving colleagues who have reached these milestone years with certificates, badges and an informal get-together with Peter Homa and senior colleagues. However this year, for the first time, we were able to hold a formal dinner to show just how much we appreciate the hard work and dedication of our staff. This was only made possible by the generous sponsorship of QMC, League of Friends and City Hospital League of Friends, who share the same ethos that people are at the very heart of what we do and celebrating loyalty and commitment is really important.
Many colleagues who started working for our hospitals in 1981, 1985 or 1991 were able to attend the dinner. Staff came together from across NUH, many of which had not met each other before, to celebrate their long service. Please see gallery of photos here.
