Travelling by tram

In August 2015 the QMC became the first hospital in the country with a dedicated tram stop. The stop has improved accessibility to QMC for everyone. Trams run every 7 minutes during peak times.

For more information about using the tram including maps, timetables and ticket prices please follow the links below.

Tram park and ride

The new Toton Lane park and ride site offers a direct tram link to the QMC. It is located off Bardill's roundabout and accessible from the A52 (Brian Clough Way) and from the M1 (via Junction 25 with A52). The journey takes approximately 20 minutes.

Other park and ride sites are also available. Go to our park and ride page

Travelling to/from Nottingham railway station

From Nottingham railway station, visitors can take a tram to Toton Lane and alight at the QMC.

Tram feedback

We have begun making improvements in response to feedback from patients and visitors. This includes additional internal and external signage to enhance wayfinding. Please provide us with feedback on your experience of using the tram on your visit to QMC so we can improve further.
