The award-winning Medilink service runs around every 10 minutes between 5.45am and 8.11pm, Monday to Friday.
On Monday March 13th 2017 Nottingham City Council introduced a charge for using the Medilink service. It is £1 if using pre-paid Robin Hood tickets or £1.20 if paying in cash for each journey. This remains cheaper than other services and paying for parking at both hospital sites. The service remains free to any city resident concessionary fares and prepaid Robin Hood season pass holders.
You can find a full fare chart here.
NUH staff travel without charge as part of the Trust’s ongoing investment and support of the service. All staff will have to show their ID badge when boarding the bus or be asked to pay.
The service links the two main hospital sites and the Wilkinson Street and Queen's Drive park and ride sites. There are additional stops at the junction of Nuthall Road and Crown Island.
The Medilink service links the hospitals to two park and ride sites. Parking at the park and ride sites is free.
Wilkinson Street park and ride site
The nearest park and ride to the City Hospital is on Wilkinson Street off Nottingham's ring road. The postcode is NG7 7NW. The site is open every day from 6am until 1am and is fully accessible for wheelchairs and buggies.
Wilkinson Street is also served by the NET Nottingham tram.
Queen's Drive park and ride site
