We are no longer accepting donations of fresh and perishable foods.
We have been incredibly grateful for the huge amount of fresh food donations that we have received.
There are people across Nottingham who are not so lucky and struggle daily to feed themselves and their children. We are supporting #NottinghamTogether to help areas of our community that need it most.
- For perishable foods, food banks can be found using this website, www.asklion.co.uk/food
- Food banks can’t always accept fresh foods / cooked meals / takeaways etc. however Tracy Dickinson can be contacted on 07977 013405 to make alternative arrangements in the community for these types of foods.
- Or you can support the Robin Hood Fund, www.robinhoodfund.org, with a donation of money which will support our city’s most vulnerable families
Thank you for your support and understanding of this decision.
Other items and types of donations, that aren’t perishables or fresh food
Again, we have been overwhelmed with offers of support from the community, and we remain humbled by this and grateful to you.
Please help us manage these offers, donations and acts of kindness, by directing them to us at MutualAid@nuh.nhs.uk
Please do not approach our staff directly with offers, or contact them via social media.
This way, we can ensure safe receipt, organisation and appropriate distribution.
Nottingham Hospitals Charity are also accepting donations through their Help your Hospital Heroes appeal, more information of which can be found on their website - https://www.nottinghamhospitalscharity.org.uk/
If you have any questions, please contact us on MutualAid@nuh.nhs.uk
We thank you once again for your generous offer and kindness at this time.
