Update on the Medilink service
Following media reports today, we would like to offer an update
on the Medilink service.
The Medilink is popular with patients, visitors and staff, with
some 1.4m passengers using the service each year. It reduces the

Drive Park and Ride, and patients and visitors boarding at
other stops on route. The proposal is £1 per journey or £3.50 Group
This fee remains cheaper than other bus services and parking at
our hospitals for patients and visitors, and would cover the costs
of the park and ride sites which are used by Medilink passengers.
The service remains free to any city resident concessionary fares
and prepaid Robin Hood season pass holders.
