Forest stars make Christmas visit

Forest stars make Christmas visit

Nottingham Forest manager Philippe Montanier and some of his first team squad paid a visit to Nottingham Children's Hospital today to meet some of our younger patients and their families.

The Reds stars handed out presents and spent time chatting to children and their families, and generally brought smiles to lots of faces!

Among the players who gave up their time to take part in the visit was star striker Britt Assombalonga, who has already developed a strong affinity with Nottingham University Hospitals (NUH) during his time as a Forest player - having been treated at the Queen's Medical Centre in 2015 following a serious knee injury, and also watched the birth of his daughter at City Hospital earlier this year.

Britt said: "It's been great to come and spend some time with the children here. Nottingham Children's Hospital is a great hospital, and the relationship we have with the staff and the wards means a lot."

Big thanks to Philippe and the players for giving up their time!
