If you have symptoms of coronavirus (COVID-19) – a high temperature, a new continuous cough, or a loss of, or change in, your normal sense of smell or taste (anosmia) – the advice is to stay at home for seven days. All members of this household should remain at home for 14 days.

C-Card scheme

The C-Card Scheme is a free, condom and lubricant distribution service for young people aged 13-24 living in Nottingham.

There are distribution centres across Nottingham and Nottinghamshire comprising of registration and pick-up points.

It doesn’t matter if you’re Lesbian, Gay, Straight, Bisexual, Trans or unsure of your gender or sexuality, a C-Card is still available for you. NUH Sexual Health Service delivers the Nottingham City C-Card scheme in many of its clinics.

On your first visit you must attend to be registered to gain access to the service. You will be seen by a trained worker who will ask you some personal questions and provide some information around safer sex and condom use, how to put on a condom using a plastic demonstrator, delaying sex, negotiating condom use, Sexually Transmitted Infections and HIV, how and where to access emergency contraception and information around mainstream sexual health services.

Once you’re registered and have been given a card you can pick up free condoms. Both male and female condoms, dental dams and lubrication are available on the C-card scheme.
