About DREEAM

DREEAM is not just a department - it's a way of thinking.

The aim is to corroborate research into education and education and research into clinical practice. Our outlook is to promote interprofessional collaborative education throughout our programmes to train teams that work as teams to enhance patient care.

We have a dedicated facility and team headed by Professor Frank Coffey, that has a reputation for delivering high quality bespoke educational programmes to healthcare professionals in the pre-hospital and hospital arena. This also extends into the wider community including schools, leisure facilities and the military.

You will find some of our programmes available on this website as well as details of the courses that we offer. We also offer tailor made bespoke courses that may be delivered in-house within your own organisation.

Please take a look and contact us to discuss your requirements.

Provide a portfolio of educational/clinical skills courses to offer opportunities for outside agencies to access training.

Frank Coffey Image "Our vision is to create an academic department for education & research into unscheduled care. This facility will be centred on the Emergency Department and Acute Medicine but seeks to evaluate the treatment and outcomes for patients from onset of their illness in the community through to the pre-hospital and acute phases of their care.
