Antenatal services at QMC

Currently the antenatal area comprises the antenatal clinic, the fetal and maternal medicine unit (FMM), the maternity assessment suite (MAS) and the scan department.  When you arrive through the main entrance of the hospital turn left, and the antenatal area can be found on your left, at the end of the corridor.

What facilities are there?

There are shops nearby in the main entrance of the hospital where drinks, snacks and newspapers can be bought. There is also a florist, a clothes shop, a cash point, post box and bank. There is no crèche facility in the antenatal area, so please bear this in mind when attending. Sometimes women need access to baby changing facilities or a private area for breastfeeding; please ask the staff to direct you.
