The maternity unit is situated on two floors in East Block. The antenatal area, B26 ward, the delivery suite with midwife-led care unit, maternity theatres and the neonatal unit are on B floor, with C29 ward on C floor. There is an East block entrance to the hospital on A floor, and the main entrance which is on B floor just off the Derby Road. There are limited ‘drop off/pick up’ bays outside both entrances.

The visiting hours are as follows:
Partners: 9am to 9pm
Other relatives and friends: 2.30pm to 8.30pm
Women are encouraged to have a rest period between 1.30pm and 2.30pm, when they will not be disturbed.
