How It Works (Briefly): The syringe is pushed along at a controlled rate by the pumping mechanism according to the preset program. The patient may demand extra doses (within the confines of the program) periodically. The lockable cover prevents any tampering with the infusion.
Usage: Used under the direction of the Pain Management Team. |
