Free Queens Drive Park and Ride Site - post code NG2 1AP

Please note that there will be very restricted parking at Queens Drive P&R every Wednesday until the 4th of April 2012. This is because Wednesdays during February and March might be busier than usual due to events in the area. If the site is busy, look for the security guards who will help you find a parking space.

To Queens Medical Centre and Nottingham City Hospital by FREE Medilink buses
Queens Drive Park and Ride site is located off Queens Drive near the A52, Clifton Bridge (see map) and is served by Medilink buses which run Mon - Fri every 10 minutes and are FREE to all.

Park and Ride Site Description:

  • Parking at Queens Drive P&R site available 0600 - 1930
  • 1000 parking spaces
  • All Medilink buses are wheelchairs and buggie accessible
  • Car park staff patrol the site from 0600 - 1930
  • This site has received the Gold Award for secure car parking

Car Park Locations and Charges - QMC campus

Queen’s Medical Centre campus car park locations

There are three main car parks for patients and visitors at QMC campus, car park 1, 2 and 3. Each is clearly signposted as you drive around the main building.

Free disabled parking is available:

  • outside the East Block entrance
  • outside the Main Entrance
  • outside the Eye and ENT Building Adjacent to West Block (in the central area near the MRI - accessed via intercom)
  • the disabled car park adjacent to the fracture clinic.

What are my alternative options for getting to QMC?

The free Medilink service runs every 10 minutes from 8am until 6pm Monday to Friday linking the two main hospital sites and the Wilkinson Street and Queen’s Drive park and ride sites. There are additional stops at the junction of Nuthall Road and Crown Island.

There is free parking available at Wilkinson Street and Queen’s Drive park and ride sites.

Parking on campuses

Both campuses have patient and visitor parking, with disabled parking available free of charge.

Pay and display car parking machines on Queens Medical Centre campus require exact change. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.

The charges for public parking on both campuses are:

Up to 2 hours £3.00
2-4 hours £4.50
Up to 24 hours £5.50
Weekly ticket - £15.00
Monthly ticket - £25.00

Concessions are also made for visitors who need to attend hospital on a regular basis e.g. families with a sick child on the wards. Please ask staff for more information.
