

The team is located at the Nottingham Children’s Hospital at the Queen’s Medical Centre Campus, Nottingham University Hospital’s NHS Trust.
The aim of the service is to:
Children and Young People with epilepsies are managed
by hospital General Paediatricians and Paediatric
Neurologists.
Various outpatient epilepsy clinics are offered; please
note the frequency of these in brackets.
Monday afternoon:
Paediatric Epilepsy Clinic: Dr S Smith, Consultant
Paediatrician and Ann Brown, Clinical Nurse Specialist
for Children’s Epilepsies (4-6 times a year)
Wednesday morning:
Paediatric Epilepsy Clinic: Dr D Thomas, Consultant
Paediatrician and Ann Brown, Clinical Nurse Specialist
for Children’s Epilepsies (3rd week of the month)
Thursday afternoon:
Clinical Nurse Specialist for Children’s Epilepsies
clinic (weekly)
Friday afternoon:
Clinical Nurse Specialist for Children’s Epilepsies
clinic (weekly)
