Ophthalmology is the branch of medicine which deals with the eyes.
Nottingham University Hospitals Ophthalmology department provides
one of the most extensive ophthalmology services in the Midlands.
We are located in the Eye, Ear Nose and Throat Centre at the Queens
Medical Centre campus.
Our service is both outpatient and inpatient based. We provide a
comprehensive service that reflects our role as both a local
provider for local people and a specialist centre of excellence for
rarer conditions.
We provide a regional 24 hour eye casualty service and the
nationally recognised Nottingham Diabetic Retinopathy Screening
Service. We also run community clinics at sites in and around
Nottingham.
