We are an integrated service for the investigation of children and young people with suspected cancer and the treatment of those diagnosed with cancer.
Children and young people rarely develop cancer and most childhood cancers can be successfully treated. If your doctor thinks cancer may be the reason for you/your child being unwell, a team of professionals will guide you through the investigations required to find out if this is the case or not. The team draws on expertise from the Nottingham Children's Hospital (at the Queen's Medical Centre), Leicester Children's Hospital (at Leicester Royal Infirmary) as well as further afield if required. We work closely with district general hospitals and community teams throughout the East Midlands.
