Commenting on her appointment, which starts at NUH from 1 February 2012, Julie said: “I am really looking forward to working with the Board on its journey to become a Foundation Trust and on delivering its vision to become the best acute teaching Trust in the country by 2016.”
Dr Peter Barrett, NUH Chairman, added: “I’m delighted to welcome Julie to our Board of Directors. She brings sound commercial judgment as well as strong technical and IT skills, which will be vital for the Trust as we move towards becoming a Foundation Trust.”
