Does the Trust offer any awards on retirement?
To be eligible for a retirement award, an employee must have at least 20 years continuous NHS service, of which the last 10 years must have been within Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust or its predecessor organisations.

Staff retiring on the grounds of ill health or over 50 years of age and taking early retirement will also be eligible for an award providing they fulfil the criteria.

Retirement awards are paid as gift vouchers at a value of £5 for every year of completed NHS service, up to a maximum of £200.

HR regularly review those who are eligible for a retirement award.  Managers of those eligible will be contacted.
